About

A gentle space where the soul can return to Christ

Indwelling Presence is a Christ-centered Bible reflection site. Its heart is a single conviction: Christ is not distant. He is near. He is living. He is present.

What you will find here

Slow, prayerful studies through the Book of Revelation — approached with reverence rather than fear; the Book of Job — walking gently with the suffering rather than explaining them away; and the Gospel of John — learning the inner life of abiding in Christ. Woven through everything is the mystery that gives this site its name: “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Colossians 1:27).

What this place is not

You will find no fear-based speculation here, no attempts to predict every detail of the future, and no treatment of Scripture as a puzzle for curiosity. Scripture is a witness to Jesus Christ. We read it to come to Him (John 5:39–40) — not merely to collect information about Him.

Who this is for

If you arrive burdened, searching, carrying questions, fear, grief, or a quiet hunger for God — you are welcome. Read slowly. Let the words descend from the mind into the heart. Pause where your soul needs to pause. There is no hurry in this place.

How to begin

A good first step is “Start Here: How to Read Revelation Without Fear” — it sets the tone for everything else on the site. Or simply choose the study your heart needs most today.
